Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67. The prolific actor passed away while filming in the Dominican Republic, TMZ reports.
The actor was shooting a movie titled Dangerous Waters and died in his sleep, according to a source close to Liotta. TMZ reports that there was nothing suspicious about his death, nor was there any foul play.
Liotta is best known for his role in Martin Scorcese's Goodfellas, in which he starred opposite Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. He also appeared in television series including Hanna, Shades of Blue, Texas Rising, and many others. More recently, he appeared in The Sopranos prequel film, Many Saints of Newark.
Liotta's fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, was with him in the Dominican Republic when he passed. Liotta is survived by his daughter, Karsen.
