It's been nearly 20 years since Sarah Michelle Gellar graced our TV screens in a supernatural teen drama. Now, fans of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star can catch her in Wolf Pack, a new show coming to Paramount+ from Teen Wolf writer Jeff Davis.
Gellar made the surprise announcement during the Teen Wolf panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday. The Buffy alum will play an arson investigator named Kristin Ramsey, a highly regarded expert in her field. Kristin is brought in by local authorities to catch a teen arsonist who began a wildfire that triggered a supernatural awakening of werewolves.
She joins previously announced leads Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, and Tyler Lawrence Gray in the Paramount+ series.
Wolf Pack is based on the Edo Van Belkom book series of the same name. It follows teens who are attacked by a supernatural creature and transformed into werewolves. The two teens team up with others like them and begin a journey to unravel the secret that binds them together.
Although Gellar has lent her voice to various animated television series in recent years, Wolf Pack marks the first time she has starred in a live-action supernatural series since Buffy ended its seven-season run in 2003. Gellar is also known for her roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, and the Scooby Doo films.
