New Shania Twain documentary Not Just a Girl lands on Netflix next week.
Not Just a Girl will look back at Twain's childhood in Timmins, Ontario and her eventual rise to fame. The documentary explores her initial label signing, the success of her album "The Woman in Me," the breakup of her marriage to producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, and her upcoming sixth album. Also included will be studio session footage from throughout her career and new interviews with Twain at home.
The documentary also features guest appearances from Orville Peck, Lionel Richie, Diplo, Kelsea Ballerini, and Avril Lavigne, who reflect on Twain's mark on the industry.
"She was the first person to break that door open and go across the music genres," Lionel Richie says in the trailer. "She was a trailblazer."
"She reached through the stereo and made me feel safe when I was a young kid," adds Orville Peck.
In conjunction with the documentary, Twain will also release a compilation album titled "Not Just a Girl (The Highlights)," which includes a new bonus title track, as well as some of her biggest hits in order of appearance in the documentary.
Not Just a Girl premieres July 26 on Netflix.
