Discovery+ has announced that Unprecedented, Alex Holder's three-part docuseries about the Trump family, will be released this Sunday, July 10.
Unprecedented features never-before-seen footage of Donald Trump and his family in the final six weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign and the days leading up to the January 6 insurrection. According to Discovery+, the series includes "unfiltered" sit-down interviews with the former president and his family, along with insights from journalists who covered the events at the time.
Along with the release date information, Discovery+ released two clips from the docuseries. The first was filmed six days after the attack on the Capitol and shows Mike Pence receiving to a Congressional draft resolution demanding that he invoke the 25th Amendment against Trump.
In the second, Trump minimizes the insurrection, saying "a very small portion" of his supporters entered the Capitol building, and suggests that their "great anger" was justified.
A trailer for the series was released on Tuesday, featuring outtakes from the sit-down interviews as well as close-up shots of the January 6 Capitol insurrection.
Unprecedented premieres July 10 on Discovery+.
