Trouble stirs again between Rick Ross and DC Young Fly after some fresh words. DC Young Fly talked about when Ross left the 85 South Show in 2021, back on the Rory & Mal podcast.

This made many fans and the show's hosts wonder what was up at that time. Ross fired back this weekend by putting up a sharp note on his Instagram Story, hitting at DC for digging up old dirt so many years later.

A once forgotten interview issue is now back in the spotlight, as both guys go to various online spots to speak on the drama, giving it new life.

DC Young Fly calls out Rick Ross for choosing shock-value over respect after 85 South played it safe

DC Young Fly was upset about Rick Ross going on another podcast that loves a good stir, while the 85 South Show had made sure to avoid questions that could hurt Ross. DC finds it tough to say there's no bad air when Ross picked a place ready to talk on risky stuff.

This move, in DC's eyes, ignored how 85 South respected him by not crossing lines. This event also lights up the big problem many stars have: picking between places that keep their story safe and ones that get big off bold, sometimes dicey, talks.

Rick Ross says he left 85 South Show for work, not disrespect

Rick Ross went on Instagram Stories, right from his pool, to talk about his visit on the 85 South Show with DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller.

To make things clear, Ross said that he came on the show for free and did not ask for any info or numbers from the show's crew.

He shared that he was there just to show support and respect, adding that he arrived early and stayed till the end, which might not have been how others saw it.

Ross also said that he had to leave because he was busy with other stuff, and he made a joke about how it wasn't worth it to wear a Gucci coat for the show.

Before he ended his note, he joked with the team to get some lemon pepper wings set if they wished for his return. He said:

"I didn’t ask you what your analytics was and this and that. I came on face, homie, to show love. Don’t make it like I walked off on you. I came early. Rozay had some other things to do too."

DC Young Fly clears the air after Rick Ross's sudden exit and payment claims

After Rick Ross hinted that he wasn't paid for his guest spot, DC Young Fly spoke out straight away. He said that what Ross implied was not true, pointing out that it wasn't just Ross on the show for free.

Big names like Boosie, T.I., Busta Rhymes, and Snoop Dogg had been on the show, too, with no pay. DC made it clear that the show was big before and after Ross came on.

He used their own numbers to prove the show always did well.

Rick Ross left the 85 South Show mid-interview without warning, saying he needed the bathroom, but his team later said he left to catch a flight.

DC Young Fly clarified they had no issue with his schedule but wished Ross had communicated upfront.

Despite Wingstop wings waiting for him, Ross seemed more focused on leaving. He later told The Breakfast Club his exit wasn’t personal, just a result of being in the zone.
