Andy Cohen appeared on The Tonight Show Monday night to talk about his upcoming seven-part series For Real: The Story of Reality TV, delving into the history and impact of the genre he loves so much.
Cohen claims to cover every show, from the hits (think: The Real World, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and The Real Housewives), to the disasters, including the plastic surgery pageant The Swan, which prompted him to say "A lot of great ideas in reality TV, a lot of maybe not-so-great ideas."
He also promises some dish on just how fake The Bachelor really is. "We talk to Molly and Jason [Mesnick, from Season 13], who fell in love on The Bachelor, and they really sang like canaries about producer involvement and enhancement on that show. I found it very interesting and surprising."
For Real: The Story of Reality TV premieres Thursday, March 25, at 9:00 PM ET on E!
