Athletes Relive the Trials of 2020 in The Day Sports Stood Still Trailer

Director Antoine Fuqua dives into the events of March 2020 and how COVID-19 completely shut down the multi billion-dollar business of professional sports in the new HBO Max documentary The Day Sports Stood Still. The just-released trailer for the doc features interviews with major athletes across all sports explaining how it all went down, their personal reactions, and how the murder of George Floyd and the protests that followed changed the question from "how are they going to play?" to "do they want to play?" 

The Day Sports Stood Still premieres March 24 at 9:00 PM ET on HBO Max.
