Cedric The Entertainer's Worst Gig Ever Was Opening for Sam Kinison

In this clip from today's Kelly Clarkson Show, Cedric The Entertainer recalls his worst-ever standup set. 

"I had a tough gig with the late, great Sam Kinison," he told Clarkson. "Super funny, rowdy, loud. He was in Des Moines, Iowa, the crowd was there for him, they were fired up, they were rowdy... and then they told me to 'stretch.' Sam wasn't ready. And I was on stage eatin' it, man. That was so tough."

Clarkson asked if maybe Kinison did that on purpose as a kind of hazing.

"You know, it was Sam Kinison," Cedric replied. "I think he was just drunk."
