In this trailer for the new Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, we are introduced to the five "enhanced" Clone Troopers that exhibit a "concerning level of disobedience and disregard for orders," according to a certain Imperial officer, and we even see one of them deliver a German suplex to a battle droid.
They eventually become Clone Force 99, an elite squad known as the "bad batch" of clones who earn the wrath of the Empire now that they've struck out on their own in a post-Clone Wars galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch premieres May 4 (Star Wars Day — May the Fourth Be With You and all) with a special 70-minute premiere episode, followed by new episodes each Friday on Disney+.
