Though appears to suggest otherwise in his new book, Colin Jost told Ellen DeGeneres today that he has no plans to leave Saturday Night Live anytime soon.
"I don't know exactly," he explained. "I don't have a real timeline. I just mean I started to potentially, psychologically, brace for the concept of leaving, which I hadn't really done, and I don't really know. Certainly, quarantine makes you appreciate having any job, and I am very much appreciating having friends that you get to work with and enjoy seeing. So I'm certainly in no rush to leave."
Jost also talked about his mother's service at Ground Zero on 9/11, and his very first his first ever television appearance — on The Weakest Link back in 2002.
