The new trailer for Young Rock previews the show's framing device, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson serving as narrator as he looks back at his life in the year 2032, when he's running for president.
Apparently we'll see three stages of his life unfold at the same time, This Is Us-style: his early career as a wrestler, his high school days, and his childhood growing up with Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson as his father, surrounded by wrestling superstars of old, including Randy "Macho Man" Savage and the Iron Shiek.
"I've got some pretty cool stories about Andre the Giant," Johnson says at the end, before showing that they somehow found someone large enough to play Andre the Giant in the show.
Young Rock premieres Tuesday, February 16, on NBC.
