Fred Armisen Recycles Urine In New Moonbase 8 Clip

Ever since Waterworld, we've wanted to know if turning pee into drinking water is possible. This clip from the upcoming Showtime comedy Moonbase 8 attempts to answer the question.

The unskilled aspiring astronauts  at the center of the show — Fred Armisen, John C. Reilly, and Tim Heidecker — are training in isolation in the desert for a potential trip to the moon, but they'e already facing a crisis when their drinking water supply gets "mysteriously" depleted. This clip shows the crew trying to figure out how they can survive for another three weeks without precious H2O. Naturally, the "urine recycler" comes into play.

Also in play here, oddly enough, is NFL star Travis Kelce, who seems to have gotten the TV acting bug after his reality dating show Catching Kelce ran its course.

Moonbase 8 premieres November 8 on Showtime.
