Jeannie Mai bid an emotional adieu to Dancing With the Stars lMonday night, explaining her medical issues and emergency surgery forced her to leave the competition when she was doing so well.

"I'm asbsolutely devastated that my journey on Dancing With the Stars has to end this way," she said from her hospital bed. "It was hands down one of the best journeys of my life."
