Kristen Wiig's "Surprise Sue" Debuted on SNL 13 Years Ago Today

On April 5, 2008, Christopher Walken hosted Saturday Night Live, and during this sketch about planning a surprise party, Kristen Wiig's over-the-top enthusiastic Sue made an impression with her level of anticipation bordering on insanity, as she just could not handle keeping the secret. 

Sue became popular enough that she would appear six more times, including most recently when Wiig returned to host in December of 2020.
