Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) is a retired detective being haunted by a serial killer (Harry Treadaway) who murdered dozens of people with a stolen car in this eerie clip from Mr. Mercedes.
Back in 2017, David E. Kelley developed Stephen King's Bill Hodges novels into a tense, creepy TV series, but it was only ever available on the AT&T-exclusive Audience Network, which shut down back in May. “Nobody could find it. And that was enormously frustrating,” director Jack Bender told the Associated Press.
However, now that Peacock has rescued it from oblivion, Bender hopes "it’s going to get the audience it’s always deserved." Maybe it could even get a fourth season.
Mr. Mercedes is streaming now on Peacock.
