Nicola Coughlan and Golda Rosheuval recently revealed some of the less glamorous secrets about their fabulous Bridgerton wardrobes on The Netflix Afterparty.
"The first day on the set, the heels paired with the corset was a pretty bad combination for me, in that I fell over three times," Coughlan says. "The last time, I was carrying a parasol, which became a deadly weapon, so I fell forward, speaking to Claudia Jessie who plays Eloise, full-on stabbed her in the hand with the parasol and she started bleeding."
For her part, Roshueval described how the show's costumes made for some extended bathroom breaks. "Peeing is quite difficult, yes... there's a skirt, and then another skirt, and then the jacket with the corset. I'm corseted up twice. So yeah, it takes about half an hour to go to the toilet."
Bridgerton is now streaming on Netflix.
