Norman Reedus dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, and after helping his audience recognize specific motorcycle sounds, he spoke briefly about his planned Walking Dead spin-off series with Melissa McBride.
"It's gonna look different," Reedus said. "It's gonna be a different flavor totally. I don't know where it's going to be yet."
Fallon suggested it's at least good to know that Daryl's going to survive TWD's eleventh and final season, but Reedus begged to differ. "It could be Weekend at Bernie's. She could drag my zombie body all across the country. I have no idea."
Reedus also spoke about getting a little nostalgic on set as TWD nears its end. "I'm sitting on this man-made structure, and there's a big hole in it, it's drizzling rain, it's like 3 o'clock in the morning, and I'm looking out over this field, and I'm like 'wow, this is where the prison was. I blew up a tank over there. Crystal's head got chopped off right down there,' and I'm starting to get a little misty-eyed thinking about it."
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9:00 PM ET on AMC.
