Ted Danson Becomes the Mayor of LA Just to Impress His Teenage Daughter in Mr. Mayor Trailer

In the latest comedy from 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, Ted Danson is the mayor of Los Angeles, a job he only ran for to impress his teenage daughter, who is very much not impressed by it.

In the process, he also learns that the job comes with enemies, including a deeply angry Holly Hunter, and staffers that can't tell the difference between wives and daughters like Bobby Moynihan.

Mr. Mayor premieres January 7 on NBC.
