In the race to call the race, CNN won. At 11:24 AM ET Saturday, the cable news network was the first major news outlet to project Joe Biden the 46th President of the United States, after the former vice president took what their decision desk determined to be an unsurmountable lead in Pennslyvania.
"After four long tense days, we’ve reached a historic moment in this election," anchor Wolf Blitzer said. "We can now project the winner of the presidential race."
NBC, ABC and CBS followed CNN in making the call within minutes, while Fox News made the call 16 minutes later at 11:40 AM.
