In these two new sneak peek clips from this week's series premiere of Clarice, set a year after the events of the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs, we see Agent Clarice Starling's confidence at a low ebb, despite having caught the serial killer Buffalo Bill.
In the first clip above, we see that confidence encouraged by Attorney General Ruth Martin (Jayne Atkinson), the mother of Catherine Martin, the victim Starling saved from certain death, as she's assigned to a new serial killer case. In the second clip below, we see that confidence stomped on by an arrogant lead agent. In both cases, it looks like Clarice would rather be anywhere else than where she is.
Clarice premeires on CBS Thursday, February 11 at 10:00 PM ET.
