As the final season of The Walking Dead approaches, the spinoffs are inevitable. We know that Norman Reedus' Daryl is getting one, but what about Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan?
"We'll see. It's definitely being talked about," Morgan said on Tuesday's Conan. "I think they're thinking of a couple different ideas, but I've definitely had conversations about possibly continuing the story of Negan."
Shortly thereafter, Morgan's phone rang audibly, and he quickly hung up on whoever was calling. Conan O'Brien joked that it might have been the call officially offering him the spin-off, and Morgan shrugged. "Oh, well. We have time... we're here for 14 months. We're here for 14 months shooting this year of the show."
Morgan also spoke of how much fun he had shooting the "Here's Negan" prequel episode with his wife, Hilarie Burton, and how his 11-year-old son Gus is going to appear in a future episode as a rarely seen child walker.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9:00 PM ET on AMC.
