To say the reviews for last week's premiere of the new series Jett have been positive would be an understatement. It currently scores 92% over at Rotten Tomatoes, with one reviewer declaring it their favorite crime drama since Breaking Bad. It's even earned Cinemax praise for its its depiction of sex and sensuality, which has to be a first for a network that's not exactly known for nuance when it comes to such things.

That the series stars Carla Gugino, fresh off Netflix's horror-story sensation The Haunting of Hill House, is the icing on the cake. Gugino plays a recently released con named Daisy "Jett" Kowalski, who quickly gets sucked back into her old life of crime. But getting back into the business means taking orders from a series of ruthless people, and Jett's going have to work carefully to stay out of hot water.

NEW EPISODE: This week on on Jett, we see the origin of Jett's relationship with Phoenix (Gaite Jansen). She's also ordered by Evans (Gil Bellows) to track down Blair (Shiloh Fernandez). 10:00 PM ET on Cinemax

NEW SEASON: The reality show for anyone who’s stayed at an Airbnb and wished they could tell their host what they really think, Netflix's addictive Aussie import Instant Hotel returns for a second season. Streaming on Netflix

SPECIAL PRESENTATION: In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and the birth of gay liberation in the United States, YouTube presents Stonewall Outloud, a special which unearths rare recordings of firsthand accounts of those fateful nights and brings those voices to life via an array of contemporary LGBTQ+ figures, including Keiynan Lonsdale, Adam Rippon, Isis King, Raja, Connor Franta, Jinkx Monsoon, Daniel Franseze, and more. Streaming on YouTube

NEW SEASON: We know, we know; asking you to devote part of your precious TV-watching schedule to anything on the subject of the New England Patriots is an outrageous request. But tonight's presentation of 100%: Julian Edelman, which chronicles the Patriots' wide receiver as he struggled to come back from a catastrophic knee injury to make it back on the field and earn MVP honors at Super Bowl LIII, is a rich story, particularly when you also factor in his four-game suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug prohibition in the same season. Love him or hate him, it's a fascinating watch. 9:00 PM ET on Showtime
