Dancing With The Stars Swings Into The Semifinals

With Sean Spicer gone, this season's Dancing With the Stars performers are poised to reach new heights tonight. (As it happens, so are the Kansas City Chiefs and the L.A. Chargers -- more details below.) Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Monday: 

NEW EPISODE:  He's not the current top scorer, but as Primetimer's Kim Reed writes, most signs point to a James Van Der-Victory at season's end. Dancing With the Stars kicks off the semifinals with the remaining five performers dancing to songs that include Kelly Clarkson's Stronger, Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You, and Vanessa Williams' Save the Best for Last. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

SPORTS: Tonight's Monday Night Football matchup comes with a twist, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the L.A. Chargers at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, where both teams will be playing in air much thinner than their bodies are accustomed to. 8:15 PM ET on ESPN

NEW EPISODE: It's another night of live performances on The Voice, with the performers getting a chance to honor those they love as the show kicks off Dedications Week. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

SERIES REVIVAL: Bravo premieres a new nightly edition of Blind Date tonight. The return of TV's original trashy dating show got our Joe Reid thinking about the crass subgenre of dating shows it spawned. 11:30 PM ET on Bravo
