I Am Not Okay With This Puts a Unique Twist on the Coming of Age Story

From My So-Called Life to Freaks and Geeks, coming of age series have a rich TV history, one which Netflix has cultivated to great success with shows like Sex Education and The End of the F***ing World. The streamer's latest offering, I Am Not Okay With This, looks to continues the tradition, with a telekinetic twist. Elsewhere on the dial, Survivor's generational conflicts are bubbling to the surface, Shark Tank looks back at eleven seasons of successes and missed opportunities, and a Full Frontal alum sets out on her own. SERIES PREMIERE: If you crossed John Hughes with the movie Carrie, you might get something like I Am Not Okay With This. Based on the graphic novel by Charles Forsman, the series follows follows Sydney (Sophia Lillis) as she navigates the trenches of high school, while struggling to gain control of her new superpowers.
