With nowhere to go and nothing to do, the nation has fallen under the spell of Netflix's Tiger King. (Props to Primetimer's Sarah D. Bunting for calling it days before the docuseries was even released). Two weeks in, Tiger King already one of the streamer's most watched series ever, spawning a FOX primetime special next week, an upcoming Discovery special, and a new bonus "after show" on Neflix today.
Also today: the creator/producer of The League pivots from football to beer in the new comedy Brews Brothers, the midseason return of Magnum P.I., and Amazon brings its recent Cannes jury prize-winning theatrical release home. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Friday:

PREMIERE MOVIE: Amazon Studios presents the French crime drama Les Misérables, which shares a title with Victor Hugo's novel, and takes place where he wrote his famous work, but spins off in a very different direction. The film follows a police officer named Stéphane (Damien Bonnard) who joins a anti-crime brigade in the suburb of Montfermeil, where he struggles to control the violent conflicts between rival gangs.
