It's Seth Rogen Times Two in HBO Max's An American Pickle

The latest theatrical film to shift gears and head to television is Seth Rogen's An American Pickle, which HBO Max picked up from Sony Pictures back in April. The move has adds yet another entry to Rogen's low-key but ever-growing list of television credits. Also today: CBS All Access drops the animated spin-off Star Trek: Lower Decks, Hitmen set their sights on NBCUniversal's Peacock, and HBO Max takes a look back at the 2020 primaries. PREMIERE MOVIE: Seth Rogen stars in An American Pickle, in which he plays Herschel Greenbaum, an immigrant who falls into a vat of pickles and awakes 100 years later in present day New York, where he meets his grandson Ben (also played by Seth Rogen). Watch the trailer. Streaming HBO Max

DOCUMENTARY: HBO Max returns to the days of the 2020 primaries with On The Trail, traveling with the reporters of CNN as they're given unprecedented access to the candidates vying for the top spot on the Democratic ticket, even as the man in the White House desperately tries to dub them "fake news." SEASON FINALE: The season finale of The Not Too Late Show with Elmo sees the world's favorite red monster sitting down with stars Jason Sudeikis and Ciara for a heart to heart conversation Streaming on HBO Max

NEW EPISODE: It's Apple Sauce Time on Holey Moley. This week's contenders include the "president" of mini golf, a blue belt in Jujitsu (who likes apple sauce), and a superhero who survives the infamous Dragon's Breath. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

PENULTIMATE EPISODE: Things are getting dark as the Killer Camp guests place their hands into horrifying boxes in the hopes of finding cash, then hurl buckets of blood at those they do not trust. And that's all before the final victim is killed at the campfire. 8:00 PM ET on The CW
