The Amazing Race Doubles Our Pleasure With Two Back-to-Back Episodes

Editor's Note: As of Wednesday afternoon, it wasn't clear how much of tonight's regular programing would be pre-empted for continuing election coverage. NBC has already announced that its planned American Ninja Warrior finale will move to Friday night, and likely other shows will follow.

As Primetimer's Joe Reid writes today, the pre-pandemic world of this season's Amazing Race may be the most comforting of TV comfort foods. As if on cue, CBS is offering up two back-to-back episodes when we need it most. Also today: American Ninja Warriors names its Season 12 champion, Group C returns to The Masked Singer stage, and both Jackie and Darlene face workplace challenges on The Conners. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES: The fourth and fifth legs of this season's The Amazing Race are set to bring the remaining teams to Asunción, Paraguay and Paris, France. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

SEASON FINALE: The truncated twelfth season of American Ninja Warrior comes to a close tonight, with the top eight Ninjas racing side by side on the Power Tower. 9:00 PM ET on NBC

NEW EPISODE: Farewell "Lips," we hardly knew you. The surviving members of Group C return to The Masked Singer stage for their second round of performances, where they'll be joined by special guest "Mr TV." Watch a preview. 8:00 PM ET on FOX

NEW EPISODE: Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) is determined to steer The Lunch Box through the pandemic on The Conners, while Darlene (Sara Gilbert) inadvertently draws the ire of her coworkers at Wellman Plastics. 9:00 PM ET on ABC

NEW EPISODE: Donny Osmond, Bob Saget, Finesse Mitchel, Cheryl Hines, and Adrienne Houghton welcome a new slate of competitors to I Can See Your Voice, then team them with a celebrity duet partner to see if their performances meet or exceed expectations. Watch a preview. 9:00 PM ET on FOX

SERIES PREMIERE: A married mother of two embarks upon a flirtatious relationship with her notably younger co-worker in the Swedish-language Netflix original Love & Anarchy, but as they challenge one another with a series of increasingly brazen dares and norm-defying challenges, the consequences of their relationship grow unexpectedly intense.
