Streaming TV's gangbusters Thanksgiving Weekend gets off to an early start today with the premiere of Marvel’s Hawkeye, The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles, and Hanna Season 3. And that’s just the tip of the streaming cornucopia: Selling Sunset returns to Netflix with more drama, Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot kicks off its second season, and Kevin Hart teams up with Wesley Snipes in the new Netflix limited series True Story. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:
Hawkeye: Series premiere. In post-blip New York City, Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Jenner), is desperate to get back to his family for Christmas, but when a threat from his past shows up, he’s forced to team up with 22-year-old archer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to unravel a criminal conspiracy. Hanna: Complete third season (series finale). With the help of her previous nemesis, former CIA agent Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos), young assassin Hanna (Esmé Creed-Miles) sets out to destroy the sinister Utrax from the inside and free herself from its grasp. Saved by the Bell: Complete second season. As Bayside High prepares for the Southern California School Spirit Competition, Daisy (Haskiri Velazquez) finds herself captivated by a new student, Mac (Mitchell Hoog) hopes to finally step out from his father’s shadow, and Jamie (Belmont Cameli) leans on Lexi (Josie Totah) in the wake of his parents’ divorce. Robin Robin: Holiday special. Aardman Animation, the company behind Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, celebrate the holidays in this new special about a robin raised by a loving family of mice who embarks upon a heist to prove that she can be a great mouse. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix
8-Bit Christmas: Original film. In 1980s suburban Chicago, 11-year-old Jake Doyle (Winslow Fegley) goes to great lengths to get the latest and greatest video game system for Christmas.
