Survivor Kicks Off Season 42, Ryan Murphy Opens The Andy Warhol Diaries

    Fresh off a twist-filled season that may have forever changed the game, Survivor returns to CBS tonight with a two-hour Season 42 premiere. The two seasons were shot back-to-back, so the show's new batch of castaways will have no idea what to expect from Jeff Probst’s new gameplay-heavy format.

    Also today: Ryan Murphy traces Andy Warhol’s creative journey in a six-part Netflix docuseries, The Masked Singer kicks off its controversial seventh season, Queer Eye hits Germany, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Wednesday:

    Survivor: Season 42 premiere. 18 castaways arrive in Fiji and are split into three tribes in the two-hour premiere. Gameplay is set to be even more intense this year, with CBS promising “a relentless pace that will push these castaways to their limits.” Watch trailer. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    The Andy Warhol Diaries: Complete docuseries. Ryan Murphy teams with director Andrew Rossi to chronicle the remarkable life of Andy Warhol from through the lens of the artist’s own posthumously published diaries. The six-part series employs AI techniques to recreate Warhol’s voice as it charts the various stages of his public and private life. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    The Masked Singer: Season 7 premiere. Contestants from three different groups (The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly) duke it out in the first round of competition. Rumor has it that former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is unmasked in tonight’s episode, a reveal that reportedly prompted panelist Ken Jeong to walk off the set in protest.     Pam & Tommy: Limited series finale. A cocky young Internet entrepreneur (Fred Hechinger) comes into the picture, changing everything for Pam Anderson (Lily James) and Tommy Lee (Sebastian Stan). Watch preview. Streaming on Hulu

    Kung Fu: Season 2 premiere. With the Lunar New Year around the corner, a more confident and grounded Nicky (Olivia Liang) finds herself in a great place in her relationship with Henry (Eddie Liu) and with her family. But after a break-in at the Shen residence leaves her shaken, Nicky, with the help of Evan (Gavin Stenhouse), begins to suspect that Russell Tan (guest star Kee Chan) may be involved.     Good Trouble: Season 4 premiere. As Tommy Sung’s (Kevin David Lin) trial comes to a close, Callie (Maia Mitchell) works to keep Kathleen (Constance Zimmer) from legal trouble. Meanwhile, someone new moves into the Coterie, shaking up the group’s dynamic. Watch preview. 10:00 PM ET on Freeform

    The Last Kingdom: Complete fifth season (series finale). As King Edward (Timothy Innes) works to unite the Saxon Kingdoms, tensions escalate between the Danes and Saxons, and the threat of a full-scale rebellion looms. Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) has been entrusted with protecting Edward’s illegitimate son, the future King of England, Aethelstan (Harry Gilby), but the treacherous Lord Aethelhelm (Adrian Schiller) has ambitions for Edward’s other son, Aelfweard (Ewan Horrocks), to rule.
