There’s something for everyone on television this weekend as star-studded action thriller The Gray Man hits Netflix, Live PD returns with a new name (and a new home), and Discovery kicks off Shark Week 2022.

FRIDAY JULY 22
The Gray Man: Original film. 27 years after making his dramatic acting debut in an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Ryan Gosling returns to TV alongside Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas in the Russo Brothers’ thriller about a former contract killer (Gosling) who becomes the target of his long-ago CIA colleague (Evans). The globe-trotting action flick also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Regé-Jean Page, and Alfre Woodard. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix
On Patrol: Live: Series premiere. Host and executive producer Dan Abrams, retired Tulsa Police Department Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin, and Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson document the everyday work of police departments across the country in Reelz’s rebooted take on Live PD. A&E canceled the series in June 2020 in the wake of George Floyd's killing and a national reckoning over police brutality and institutionalized racism. Watch preview. 9:00 PM ET on Reelz
Anything’s Possible: Original film. Kelsa (Eva Reign), a confident high school girl who is trans, navigates senior year and a budding romance with her classmate Khal (Abubakr Ali) in this LGBTQ+ coming of age love story directed by Billy Porter. Watch trailer. Streaming on Prime Video
Physical: New episode. Sheila (Rose Byrne) attempts to get closer to fitness guru Vinnie Green (Murray Bartlett), which puts her in a battle of wills against Vinnie’s ruthless business partner (Anna Gunn), but also results in an unexpected dance off. Streaming on Apple TV+
Blown Away: Complete Season 3. Ten glass artists from around the world push themselves to their creative limits in hopes of being crowned Best in Glass. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix
Trying: Season 3 premiere. After waking up as new parents to two children they’re still getting to know, Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) are thrown straight into the parental deep end. Nikki and Jason’s relationships with each other and their loved ones are tested as they ride the ups and downs of parenting, while hanging onto their kids and their sanity. Two episodes drop today. Best Foot Forward: Complete first season. Based on the story of Paralympic athlete and author Josh Sundquist, this live-action series follows 12-year-old Josh Durbin (Logan Marmino) as he goes from homeschool to public school, where he hopes the other students will see past his prosthetic leg and get to know him for who he really is. The Rehearsal: New episode. Nathan Fielder helps an Oregon woman prepare for motherhood by simulating the experience of raising a child from zero to eighteen. 11:00 PM ET on HBO

Great White Open Ocean: Special presentation. In 2020, shark diving expert Jimi Partington nearly died in the jaws of a great white. Supreme Team: Docuseries finale. In the early 2000s, an opportunity to rebrand himself as movie and music producer gives Supreme a chance to go legit.
