Grey’s Anatomy: Season 19 premiere. A new group of talented and striving interns enter Grey Sloan Memorial looking to make their mark and impress interim chief Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). Pompeo will have a more limited role this season and is only scheduled to appear in eight episodes, though Kate Walsh’s Dr. Addison Montgomery will fill in as a recurring character. A Friend of the Family: Limited series premiere. The shocking true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times over a period of years by a charismatic family “friend,” gets the limited series treatment in this nine-episode drama. Jake Lacy plays sexual abuser Robert “B” Berchtold opposite McKenna Grace and Hendrix Yancey as Jan at various ages, while Anna Paquin and Colin Hanks play parents Mary Ann and Bob Broberg. Alaska Daily: Series premiere. After a fall from grace, award-winning investigative journalist Eileen Fitzgerald leaves life in New York behind to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage, where her journey to find both personal and professional redemption begins. Created by Tom McCarthy (Spotlight), the drama also stars Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, and Grace Dove. Watch trailer. 10:00 PM ET on ABC
Walker: Independence: Series premiere. In the late 1800s, Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara), an affluent Bostonian whose husband is murdered before her eyes while on their journey out West, crosses paths with Hoyt Rawlins (Matt Barr), a lovable rogue in search of purpose. Abby and Hoyt’s journey takes them to Independence, Texas, and they soon find themselves precariously aligned, both seeking to uncover the truth about Abby’s husband’s murder. Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler: Season 3 premiere. The DC drama moves from Epix to HBO Max as it continues to tell the story of Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier who goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) and his wife Martha (Emma Paetz). Season 3 brings a cultural revolution that has changed the world and ushered in a new age of superheroes and supervillains. Three episodes drop today. Watch trailer. Streaming on HBO Max
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: New episode. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has yet to make an appearance, but as the Marvel series reaches its penultimate episode, a major cameo seems imminent. Streaming on Disney+
Wahl Street: Season 2 premiere. As the world adjusts to its new “pandemic normal,” Mark Wahlberg works to bring his businesses back to life, taking new and even bigger risks along the way. Monster High: The Movie: Original film. The popular Mattel franchise expands with a live-action movie musical about the denizens of Monster High, a school for monsters of all forms. Watch trailer. Streaming on Paramount+ and airs 7:00 PM ET on Nickelodeon
