HBO's The Mystery of D.B. Cooper Trailer Looks at Life After the Perfect Crime

On November 24, 1971, a Boeing 727 was politely hijacked en route from Portland to Seattle by a passenger who identified himself as Dan Cooper. After extorting Northwest Orient Airlines for $200,000, he parachuted out of the plane and was never heard from again. 

Did he die, or did he pull off a perfect crime?

That's the question the true crime doc The Mystery of D.B. Cooper aims to answer, featuring interviews with people who claim to have been related to the man himself.

The Mystery of D.B. Cooper premieres on HBO and HBO Max November 26 (49 years and two days after Cooper's hijacking).
