Jimmy Fallon appeared in studio on The Drew Barrymore Show Monday, and they recalled a failed Late Night bit that's not likely to happen again in a post-pandemic world, titled "Lick It For Ten."
"The bit just didn't work," Fallon said. "The idea of the bit was that we just bring out a product, and someone licks it, and we give you ten dollars. We thought that was so funny. We go 'oh, that's great.' We made t-shirts in the NBC Store that are on discount. They are very available right now anytime. 'Lick It For Ten.' It just sank. We tried it like four times, but I love those bits when you look back and you go 'oooh, my gosh,' and then some things, you go like 'ah, let's do this thing called Thank You Notes, and that stays with you for twelve years."
