Showtime Previews the Series Finale of The Good Lord Bird

John Brown (Ethan Hawke) and his abolitionist followers have captured the federal arsenal at Harper's Ferry with the intention of inciting a slave revolt, but he's now surrounded by 1200 United States troops demanding his surrender.

There's one episode left of The Good Lord Bird to see how it all goes down. In this preview, "there's a great war coming." This standoff is one of the inciting events that led to the American Civil War. 

The final episode of The Good Lord Bird airs Sunday, November 15, at 9:00 PM ET on Showtime.

Showtime has also released this extended clip of the final episode, where Brown is attempting to negotiate the end to the stand-off with Lt. J.E.B. Stuart of the United States Cavalry... a negotiation he is in no position to make.
