The Muppets took over the opening of ESPN's Monday Night Football last night for a little dose of "Muppet Night Football."
Highlights include Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin reacting poorly to a bad Fozzie Bear joke, as well as Statler and Waldorf heckling from the stands.
Later on, there was also a football-themed rendition of "Carol of the Bells" featuring Beaker, Animal, and the Swedish Chef.
Just don't call that football a "pigskin" around Miss Piggy. You'd think Kermit would know that by now.
Andy Hunsaker has a head full of sitcom gags and nerd-genre lore, and can be followed @AndyHunsaker if you're into that sort of thing.
