Ice Cube's 3-on-3 basketball league that he launched with Jeff Kwatinetz in 2017 and Big Brother producer Fremantle are partnering on a tournament and reality show that is expected to premiere in early May. According to Yahoo Sports, "after receiving a negative coronavirus test result, players and referees will be quarantined in the same Los Angeles-area home provided by the league for the three-week tournament, which will consist of 16 players." Big Brother: Big3 will capture the players and officials on and off the court and may include female players. The plan is to make the show and tournament an annual event with a seven-figure cash prize for the winner. Yahoo Sports adds that Fremantle and Big3 are narrowing down potential global TV broadcast partners.
