Baldwin, who joined CNN as a freelancer in 2008, announced her departure this afternoon, saying: "The next chapter of life will be focused on what I love the most about my work, amplifying the lives of extraordinary Americans and putting my passion for storytelling to good use." Baldwin's exit is part of a number of changes at CNN, with Brianna Keilar moving to New Day, replacing Alisyn Camerota, who is moving to afternoons.
