CNN taps Colin Quinn for its first-ever comedy special

The cable news network announced it will air a Memorial Day special starring the former SNL "Weekend Update" anchor titled Red State Blue State, based on his Off Broadway show of the same name. CNN says Quinn “brings the funny tackling the absurdities, hypocrisies and calamities on both sides of the political divide.” Red State Blue State airs on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 at 9 p.m.
