Meghan Markle's ex-husband reportedly scraps plans for a Fox comedy inspired by their lives

Heathers and Snowfall executive producer Trevor Engelson, who was married to Markle from 2011 to 2013, teamed with Modern Family executive producer Danny Zuker last September to develop a Fox single-camera comedy about a divorced father who shares custody of his kids with his ex-wife, who is married to a prince. According to The Sun, Markle persuaded her ex to hold off on the "embarrassing" show. ALSO: Elton John will perform at the royal wedding.
