NBC says it's No. 1, but CBS still says it's "America's most-watched network"

NBC is boasting that it's the No. 1 network over a 52-week period -- from September 2017 to September 2018 -- for the first time in 16 years. Yet CBS says it's No. 1 when it comes to the actual TV season, which kick off in September and ends in May. Thus both CBS and NBC can credibly claim to be No. 1.
