The National Rifle Association tweeted a Leslie Knope "thank you" GIF to its spokesperson, Dana Loesch, after she participated in CNN's town hall on the Florida school shooting Wednesday night. That prompted Parks and Rec creator Michael Schur, who's been very active in denouncing the gun-rights organization on Twitter, to tweet at the NRA: "Hi, please take this down. I would prefer you not use a GIF from a show I worked on to promote your pro-slaughter agenda. Also, Amy isn't on twitter, but she texted me a message: 'Can you tweet the NRA for me and tell them I said f*ck off?'" Fellow Parks and Rec alum Nick Offerman also responded to the NRA's tweet: "@NRA @DLoesch our good-hearted show and especially our Leslie Knope represent the opposite of your pro-slaughter agenda - take it down and also please eat sh*t," Offerman tweeted. Adam Scott also weighed in: "Hey @nra please stay the f*ck away from Leslie Knope."
