The Chi Season 2 showrunner Ayana Floyd -- who alleged that Lena Waithe new about Jason Mitchell's alleged on-set misconduct -- has been replaced by Justin Hillian for Season 3, which has begun filming. Additionally, Birgundi Baker, who plays Kiesha, has been promoted to series regular. Showtime also announced that Lil Rel Howery, La La Anthony and Luke James are joining Season 3 in recurring roles.
