The Chi to kill off Jason Mitchell's character in Season 3

Mitchell was dropped from the Showtime series in May amid on-set harassment allegations. Gary Levine, co-president of Showtime Entertainment, revealed at the TV press tour that Mitchell's character will be killed off. "There is a lot of great life in The Chi and there’s also death in The Chi and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Levine said on Friday.
