Watch: Ivana Trump Charmed UK Viewers on Celebrity Big Brother 7

Although Donald Trump managed to parlay his reality TV fame into a successful run for the White House, in 2010 it was his ex-wife Ivana who won over UK viewers as a houseguest on Celebrity Big Brother.

Ivana, who died Thursday at age 73, rose to fame as the socialite wife of the future 45th president to whom she was married for 15 years. Her notoriety only increased after their messy split in 1992, when she became an icon of spurned first wives, authoring four books and launching a fashion and fragrance line bearing her name.

But for TV viewers in the UK, she's probably best remembered for her 19-day stint as a houseguest on the 2010 UK edition of Celebrity Big Brother, where she competed against the likes of Sisqó, Heidi Fleiss, Stephen Baldwin and Stephanie Beacham, with whom she formed a close bond.

As evidenced from the clip package above, the then-60 year-old socialite was surprisingly down to earth during her stint on the series, clocking a total of six hours on an exercise ball and at one point posing in her underwear alongside a topless model for a life drawing activity. 

As news of her death spread Thursday, viewers weighed in with warm remembrances.

Trump reached the semi-finals before being evicted from the house on Day 25. Two days later, British actor and former mixed martial artist Alex Reid was crowned the season's winner.
