This Spanish Priest Can't Outrun His Demons in HBO's 30 Coins Trailer

This eerie new trailer for HBO's Spanish-language horror series 30 Coins, from director Alex de la Iglesia (The Oxford Murders), is absolutely drenched in unsettling religious horror imagery. 

Eduardo Fernandez plays Father Vergara, an exiled exorcist living in a remote Spanish village whose demons eventually catch up to him, and these demons sure seem to be the literal kind, what with the dancing church pews and the giant spider-monster.

HBO has yet to set a release date for 30 Coins, saying only that it will arrive sometime in 2021.
